Grants Queensland Women's Week 2020

A total of $150,000 funding is available to support Queensland Women’s Week events, projects and activities throughout the state’s urban, rural and remote communities that:

  • offer opportunities for women of all ages, abilities and linguistic and cultural backgrounds to join together in celebration; and
  • inspire the Queensland community to respect women, embrace gender equality, and promote and protect the rights, interests and wellbeing of women and girls.

Community organisations, councils and P&Cs are encouraged to apply for grants up to $3000.

Grant applications close 5pm Thursday 31 October 2019.

You are strongly encouraged to begin your application early, as you will need to gather a range of supporting documentation (e.g. insurance certificates, letters of support etc), with some requiring signing by two members of your executive or committee (e.g. EFT Application Form).

To ensure your application is received in time, please begin the application lodgement process in SmartyGrants as early as possible. Late applications will not be accepted.
