Round 6 of FairPlay vouchers open

Round 6 of FairPlay vouchers open

On Wednesday 19 January 2022

Posted on 19.01.2022

The program provides eligible Queensland children and young people aged 5 to 17 (inclusive) who can least afford to join a sport or recreation club with a voucher valued up to $150 which can be used toward the cost of membership, participation and/or registration fees for eligible activities with registered physical Activity Providers. Round 6 will close when all available vouchers are issued or, if the voucher allocation is exhausted, the round will close on 23 March 2022.

FairPlay vouchers remains one of Sport and Recreation’s most popular initiatives. Over 4,000 clubs have registered for the program. Activity Providers can apply for registration for FairPlay vouchers at any time. Registration is valid for the entire program period so there is no need to register for each round.

FairPlay opens on 19 January 2022 and we would appreciate your support to help get the word out to as many families as possible, via your networks. To assist, we’ve attached a stakeholder kit including program information, key messaging, application information, newsletter content and some social tiles.

Check out some of our great videos on the FairPlay Vouchers program. These are available via our website:

  • Our “How to apply” video assists families with information on child eligibility and applying for a voucher
  • Our Activity Provider video provides information on organisation eligibility and redeeming vouchers.
  • Our video on how Referral Agents can help families with applying for a voucher.
