There are many things to love - picturesque parks, easy climate, wide open spaces, quintessential Australian landscapes.
There are many things to love about living in the Toowoomba Regional Council area. Some people love the picturesque parks and easy climate of one of Australia’s most beautiful cities, others are lured to the wide open spaces or quintessential Australian landscapes.
There are many recreational activities across our diverse area and council provides many of these. Walking and cycling are healthy and economical ways to get around Toowoomba and the many other towns in our region whether you are a resident or visitor.
Children can use pathways to get to and from school or visit a friend. Families and tourists can get out for an enjoyable bike ride along some of the pathways that meander their way through picturesque parks and alongside creeks and wetlands. Workers and students can benefit from walking or cycling to work or school by incorporating exercise into their day, spending time outdoors in the fresh air and spending less money on transport costs.
This area of Queensland is known for its amazing parks and gardens, all of which are easy to access and enjoy. If you like exploring or relaxing among beautiful green surroundings, you can’t go past any of the council’s fantastic parks or gardens.
