The King’s College Boat Club operates from King’s College UQ. Based on the Brisbane River in St Lucia, the Club is over 100 years old. Initially based at Kangaroo Point, then later in St Lucia when the new premises was opened in 1955.
The Club races annually in the Inter College Cup regattas and since 2015 has sent crews to race in UK and the Henley Royal Regatta.
In 2020 when the College became co-residential, women joined the club for the first time.
