Parks Week is about hundreds of organisations across Australia and New Zealand holding events to celebrate the vital role parks play in creating liveable cities and thriving communities. Parks Week 2025 will focus on the how spending time in our parks and open spaces positively influences our wellbeing.

Parks Week provides a unique opportunity for local government authorities and organisations across Australia and New Zealand to showcase the value parks bring to their communities. From hosting events and sharing inspiring stories to acknowledging the dedicated individuals who contribute to maintaining these spaces, Parks Week is a collective effort to emphasise the importance of our parks.
