A campground, a holiday house and an event venue.
Jimna Base Camp was formerly the Jimna State School and has since been repurposed into a campground, a holiday house and an event venue.
It is the perfect place to base yourself either for relaxation, or for the exploration of the great wilderness of the Jimna State Forest Range and Conondale National Parks, offering walking and driving tracks in all directions.
We specialise in small capacity camping to ensure plenty of space between campsites. It is old-school camping, but with the bonus of hot showers and flush toilets. Our campground is a pet-friendly abode, so bring along your friendly dogs or ride your horse to stay with you. There’s plenty of fun for the kids and adults with a game of tennis or shoot the basketball hoops! All gear provided.
For those wanting a little more coziness, stay in the old Principal’s residence; a three-bedroom, fully furnished house with two Queen beds and two Single beds.
Jimna Base Camp is centered right in the heart of the Jimna township on six-acres of quiet seclusion.
As an event venue, we have accommodated family gatherings, sporting events, weddings, social clubs, charity events, 4×4 clubs, adventure motorcyclists and more. There are also options to incorporate the Jimna Hall and Jimna Sporting Club as part of your event, which supports the local community.
Both Camping and House can be booked online via our website.
