Outdoor Education
The Walloon State School Outdoor Education Program provides students with hands-on, real-world learning experiences that build resilience, teamwork, and life skills beyond the classroom.
It includes structured programs such as Courage Plus, school camps, fishing education days, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, team-building challenges, and nature-based activities. The program is designed to develop problem-solving, communication, leadership, and environmental awareness while encouraging students to step outside their comfort zones.
By connecting physical activity, outdoor adventure, and personal growth, the program supports student wellbeing, strengthens school culture, and fosters a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors.
