Welcome to QORF OutdoorNet – the online outdoor sector discussion forum
QORF OutdoorNet discussion forums are hosted by QORF and take place several times throughout the year in various locations across Queensland. The forum carries forward the initiative started by QORF and QPWS several years and has been developed to enable the outdoor sector to openly discuss emerging outdoor recreation trends, the opportunities and hindrances to increasing participation, policy issues affecting outdoor recreation and to build & maintain positive ongoing working relationships within the sector.
The QORF OutdoorNet online forum provides an opportunity to increase the reach and effectiveness of these discussions and is a way for QORF Green Circle members, invited guests and outdoor recreation participants to openly discuss relevant issues, seek feedback and effectively communicate with each other, regardless of their physical location.
QORF OutdoorNet encourages the sharing of ideas, information, issues and solutions of interest to the outdoor recreation sector in Queensland. Contributors are asked to follow the ‘House Rules’. Diversity of opinion and thoughtful civil discussion is encouraged and contributors are asked to exercise common sense and be considerate toward others – disagreeing with a person’s idea is not the same as disagreeing with the person!
You may contact QORF, the group administrator, at industry@qorf.org.au with any questions or concerns.
