Explore how sport settings can intentionally create environments that support mental health, belonging, safety, and inclusion.  What role leaders, coaches, and organisations can play in shaping these environments so that everyone feels welcomed and able to participate.

Sport and Racing, in collaboration with Queensland Women and Girls Health Promotion Program, Queensland Health, invites you to an inspiring free workshop delivered by Kate Thomas and Maia Tua-Davidson of Welcoming Clubs Australia.

Kate and Maia are leaders in creating safe, inclusive, participant-centred, and healing-centred sport environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from their expertise and explore practical strategies to foster inclusivity in sport and recreation.

Workshop Highlights

In this session, we’ll dive into:

🟣 Trauma-Informed Sport

🟣 Getting and Keeping Girls Playing

🟣 Upstander Training (Anti-Racism)

🟣 Active Inclusion
