Test your teamwork and navigation skills in Wondai State Forest with a 3, 15, or 24-hour rogaine — a long-distance, cross-country adventure where teams of 2–5 choose their own route to reach as many checkpoints as possible.

Join us for the highlight of the South East Queensland rogaining calendar, up to 24 hours of rogaining.

Are you ready to be Lord or Lady of the rings? Will you use the circular trail network, or choose a direct route through the open eucalypt forest? In the words of Gandalf “All you have to do is decide what to do with the time that is given to you”.

The course will be set to provide serious competitors with navigational challenges and tough route choices, while novices will have plenty of options close to home. As always in rogaining, you can be as competitive or as casual as you like. You decide whether to stay out all night or return to the Hash for a hearty feed and a snooze by the most awesome campfire. Novices are always welcome!

This event will take place over 24 hours with teams of two to five people. You can choose to enter the traditional 24hr rogaine or the ‘15hr roving’ competition. If you enter the 15hr roving event, you can spend up to 15 hours on the course in total (so you can get a nice sleep and go back out in the morning). The traditional 24hr event is the Queensland Rogaining Championship.

Entry includes high quality map, unpowered free camping Fri and Sat nights, meals Sat dinner, Sunday Breakfast and Sunday lunch BBQ with presentation. Access to BBQs and hot water on Friday night.
