Sport Strategy Consultation Forum

On Friday June 6 at 14:00 (2pm) we are hosting a forum to discuss our response as a sector to the Queensland Government’s new Sport Strategy due to be released late 2025 to improve physical activity rates and healthy active lifestyle for the next 10 years and beyond.

The government webpage says: “We want to build on our successes and hear how we can support all Queenslanders to have the confidence and knowledge to be active at all stages in life, and to make sport* more inclusive and accessible.”

Our special guest on the day will be Steph McCallum-Keily, Acting Director, Strategy and Analytics at the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games, who will talk to us about the strategy and what it might mean for the active and outdoor recreation sector.
