The Amazons Australia

The Amazons Australia is the first ever ARWS (Adventure Racing World Series) all female adventure race. It is a 3 day stage race for teams of two women, with 6-8 hours of racing each day. Disciplines include Trekking, Mountain Biking, Paddling and Navigation.

There are 4 categories –

1. Legends – Two women 50 & over*
2. Warriors – Two women 30 & over*
3. Princesses – Two women under 30*
4. Tribes – Two women – mothers, daughters, sisters or friends whose ages do not fit the other categories.

* Age based on 1 July 2025

The Amazons Australia is a step up from the Wild Women Adventure Race that has been going since 2012. As there is no night racing, there is not the sleep deprivation that comes with other multiday events. Instead, you get to relax and unwind after each day of racing and share your adventure stories with like-minded adventurous women.

Cost
Standard Entry $975 per person or $1950 per team (1 January 2025 – until midnight 31 May 2025)
Late Entry $1075 per person or $2150 per team (accepted after 31 May 2025 if not sold out until midnight Sunday 22 June 2025)

The Amazons are calling … we are encouraging women from other sports to step outside of their usual routine and have a go at this amazing sport of adventure racing.
