The Gold Coast Performance Centre is a premier sporting and camp facility owned by the Queensland Department of Education.  School groups enjoy a fully catered camp and our activities are designed to bring out the best in your students by creating challenges and developing skills, team work, building confidence and creating a sense of achievement, taking the learning out of the classroom and into the outdoors.

School Camps at Gold Coast Performance Centre
The centre’s accommodation hosts more than 20,000 guests annually. Our nine lodges can accommodate groups of up to 292 people, with up to 36 people per lodge. School groups enjoy a fully catered camp, with a fresh menu, we can also cater for special dietary requirements. Staffed 24/7, student safety is a top priority.

Our activities are designed to bring out the best in your students by creating challenges and developing skills, team work, building confidence and creating a sense of achievement, taking the learning out of the classroom and into the outdoors.

Camps can either be facilitated by yourself, or we can assist you to put together your ideal itinerary.

Runaway Bay Sport and Leadership Excellence Centre
The Runaway Bay Sport and Leadership Excellence Centre (RBSLEC) also located at the Gold Coast Performance Centre is an all-inclusive outdoor education centre delivering the Australian National Curriculum to Queensland state students. Over 8000 students from years 4 to 12 attend RBSLEC annually to develop sport and leadership skills through programs facilitated on the elite sporting facilities, Broadwater and surrounding bushland. RBSLEC teachers strive to inspire every student to achieve a personal best in all aspects of their lives.
