State of Volunteering in Queensland Survey 2023

Volunteering Queensland has officially announced it will be undertaking the second report into the State of Volunteering in Queensland. We are urging you to have a voice in this report by responding to this survey.

The report will help shape a strong future for volunteering programs by providing key information to:

• Understand the characteristics of volunteers, volunteering and volunteer involving organisations
• Quantify the economic and social value of your volunteers and volunteering
• Improve your decision-making and approach to your volunteer workforce
• Shape targeted business cases, knowing the value of volunteering and the high return on investment
• Provide a roadmap of how volunteering trends are tracking in Queensland in comparison to the 2021 Report.

This report will provide Volunteering Queensland with hard evidence on where we need to direct more resources to ensure everyone has access to volunteering, the ultimate act of service and community spirit and volunteer involving organisations have the resources to deliver the services that are so important.

The volunteering sector is so diverse, we need every single volunteer manager across the State to tell the story of their volunteering program so we can effectively advocate on your behalf.
