AAAS Consultation Forum

With the review of the Australian Adventure Activity Standard (AAAS) nearing completion, Outdoors Queensland has opted to host an online Teams forum where we can review and discuss some of the changes and refinements coming the Standard and the associated Good Practice Guides.

The new draft documents are available on the Outdoor Council of Australia website which also includes links to the current AAAS documents, and information on the review process.

The AAAS Review

The timeline for the AAAS Review is as follows:

• Webinar 1 – Launch of AAAS Review – Friday 3rd July 12pm

  • click/scroll to review the DRAFT Documents
• Webinar 2 – 5 – each hosted by a state body about the changes to the AAAS catering for national engagement
  • Queensland, July 17*
• Webinar 6 – Final OCA webinar and last opportunity to get involved – Tuesday, July 28, 12:00 pm
• Submissions close 31 July
