Hear from leading researchers on the new tools and technology revolutionising conservation!
In this second session, we will recap recent breakthrough technology such as the thermal drones capturing mahogany glider movements in northern Queensland, and the eDNA results from Resilient Rivers helping us understand what’s in our creeks and catchments.
We’ll be joined by guest speakers Vincent Raoult and Katie Turlington to learn about underwater drone monitoring of coral reefs and audio monitoring tools for freshwater ecology. Together, they will speak to the ways in which Artificial Intelligence is shifting the landscape of conservation data – and what challenges may yet arise.
