Have your say on Queensland’s Draft Protected Area Strategy
Queensland’s protected areas—including national parks and privately owned nature refuges— are world-renowned for their diversity, unique flora and fauna, and breathtaking scenery. They are the cornerstone of Queensland’s nature conservation programs as they protect our unique biological diversity, which is increasingly important in the face of a changing climate.
Please note:
As a key stakeholder in the future of Queensland’s protected area estate and the possible implications to access for outdoor recreation, QORF will be making a submission on this draft strategy. We encourage all QORF members and supporters of outdoor recreation and the environment to read the draft document and provide feedback and comment.
