The Affective Abilities of Australian Outdoor Leaders: A National Survey
You’re invited to participate in research about what affective abilities, previously known as soft skills, are used by leaders and educators in the outdoor sector. It’s likely you, and the people you work with, have a lot of knowledge to share on this topic.
The purpose of this study is to learn more about your perceptions about the affective abilities (aka soft skills) used by leaders in outdoor experience provision. It is planned to use the insights from this study to support the training and development of affective abilities.
Who can do the survey?
People who are 18 or older and are working or have worked as a facilitator, leader, educator or employer in the outdoor sector in Australia. This includes all kinds of outdoor experience provision purposes (e.g., recreation, education, therapy, etc.).
Please note:
- Your responses to the survey are anonymous.
- Completing this online survey should take no longer than 10 minutes.
- Upon completion of your survey, you will be asked to provide an email address in order to enter the draw for 1 of 4 awesome prizes. This is completely voluntary, and your contact details will be used for no other purpose other than to select a winner. All contact information will be destroyed at the completion of the study.
