Focused training in specific skills

In the face of overwhelming adversity, QTIC is fast-tracking the launch of a Micro-Credentialing program, which will provide skilling solutions for immediate benefit to tourism and hospitality businesses and their employees.

The Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) endorsed micro-credentials offer alternative current skilling solutions that provides direct benefit to tourism and hospitality businesses, and their workforce.

The program aims to provide an opportunity to support changing workplaces by enabling the provision of focused training in specific skills to better support employees and businesses to adopt innovations and improved productivity.

The project will provide 400 tourism and hospitality businesses and their staff with the opportunity to acquire specific skills, or micro-credentials, through a comprehensive online delivery platform. QTIC aims to reach at least 1,750 tourism and hospitality employees with this new tool.
