A positive change for sport and recreationv
Increase participation both on and off the field
Are you passionate about sport and recreation and would you like to share your lived experience to contribute towards positive change for people with disability in the community?
Carers Queensland’s Inclusive Sport and Recreation Communities Project aims to increase representation and participation of people with disability in sport and recreation, both on and off the playing field.
We are inviting people with disability to express their interest in being part of the project’s online ‘Beyond the Sidelines’ Reference Group. We are seeking people from different regional areas with a wide range of involvement from playing or participating, to coaching, officiating, volunteering and administration.
This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and experience and help identify best practices for inclusion of people with disability in sport and recreation communities across Queensland.
By working together, we can discover and share existing opportunities, break down barriers to participation, and create solutions beyond the sidelines.
Express your interest and find out more
If you want to get involved, please complete our Expression of Interest form online by 10am Monday 21 November, 2022.
