Call of adventure pulls Queensland rower to sea three times
ABC News story about Queensland adventurer Liz Wardley on her nearly nine-month-long journey in a seven-metre rowboat across 13,000 kilometres of ocean. This journey included a 4,800-kilometre race from Spain across the Atlantic Ocean to Antigua, aptly named the World’s Toughest Row,
Ms Wardley, from Elliott Heads north of Brisbane, always loved sailing but wanted a new adventure:
“The challenge of being just one little person on a little rowboat in a big ocean was very inspiring.”
