The Purpose of the Draft Directions Paper

This Draft Directions Paper: For Consultation for Daisy Hill Koala Bushland (the Koala Bushland) has been prepared by the Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing (NPSR) to encourage comment on its future management, use and enjoyment. The draft has been developed following an extensive review of the site; assessment of the policy and planning framework and recreation and tourism opportunities; and consideration of a wide range of stakeholder and community perspectives.

This Draft Directions Paper outlines the key opportunities and priority directions for the Koala Bushland and Daisy Hill Koala Centre, subject to available resources. Once finalised, the Directions Paper will provide a five-year framework to guide management across the Koala Bushland.
