High fuel loads and hot weather
ABC News story warning Queenslanders that the forthcoming 2024-25 bushfire season is likely to be longer and more intense due to higher-than-normal fuel loads and hotter temperatures.
“We will certainly see above average conditions or fire activity in some areas,” said Rural Fire Service Queensland’s Ben Millington.
