Brisbane City Council has committed $100 million for the Oxley Creek Transformation project to transform Oxley Creek into a world-class green lifestyle and leisure destination.

The Draft Master Plan

The Oxley Creek Transformation draft Master Plan includes our core focus, 3 goals, 6 priority projects, 12 strategies and 14 strategic ideas which will guide the future plan to transform this corridor over the next 20 years.

The plan will explore opportunities to improve recreation facilities, tourism and visitors to the area, cultural and heritage, walking and cycling trails, while supporting a clean, green and sustainable environment.

The plan will explore opportunities to improve flood resilience and water quality, restore wildlife habitats, reuse stormwater and other measures that allow the natural environment to thrive.
