Funding to improve knowledge and understanding of catchment health and the water cycle
Applications are now open!
Seqwater has launched the 2017 Community Grants program – Water for life. From today, we’re inviting you, our local community to partner with us on local projects that focus on water education and community involvement.
Water for life Community Grants will provide funding to improve South East Queenslanders’ knowledge and understanding of catchment health and the water cycle. We’re looking for existing community initiatives and new partnerships that will benefit from grants of up to $10,000.
Your support of the Water for life Community Grants program and community groups means more benefits for our local waterways and a greater appreciation of water as a precious resource.
Who should apply?
We are seeking community partners located in Seqwater’s operational footprint who can deliver initatives that:
- encourage community involvement in improving catchment health and source water quality.
- educate and engage children and young people on the water cycle, caring for catchments and protecting source water quality.
- build community understanding of the water cycle and water-related issues.
