What if Australia’s high school students ran our country?
This might be a great opportunity to open up a national discussion about the importance and value of outdoor education, being outdoors and Nature Play. We encourage all Queensland schools to give it a go – especially of your school has a strong and vibrant outdoors culture!
The ABC’s Q&A program is planning a fourth “Q&A High School Special” to be broadcast live across the nation on Monday 26th August from the ABC’s Ultimo studio in Sydney. You would need to be there at 8.45pm. (It will conclude 10.45pm).
The audience will be all students – mostly from Year 11/12 – and they’ll be putting the questions they want answered to a panel including high school kids and senior politicians from government and opposition.
Does your school want to set the national agenda? This is your chance to take YOUR questions up to your elected representatives!
Numbers are strictly limited. We’ll have room for up to 10 students from approximately 20 schools. Will you and your school be there?
To take part in this unique and exciting opportunity speak to your teachers now.
- Get your school on board and have your teacher email us at QandA@abc.net.au with YOUR application explaining in 300 words or less why your school should be chosen to join the live Q&A audience. Please make sure the teacher’s name, contact details and mobile number are included.
- Q&A is also looking for individual senior high school students who are keen to tackle the big issues from behind the desk – to be on the panel right beside our top politicians and commentators. To apply visit our website: https://www.abc.net.au/qanda/join-the-highschools-panel
