Speed skydiver hangs on to world title
Queensland woman Natisha Dingle has retained her World’s Fastest Female title at the FAI World Cup of Speed Skydiving in Austria.
She also set a new Oceania record after reaching a top average speed of 497.31 kilometres per hour.
A chance encounter at a school jobs fair led 37 year old Natisha Dingle to her passion in life — jumping from a plane and freefalling at nearly 500 kilometres per hour.
“There’s nothing quite like it,” she said.
