We wanted to let you know about the launch of the Outdoor Industry Standards Set, now available through the Standards Australia Store, courtesy of the Outdoor Council of Australia.
This curated digital subscription brings together the Australian and international standards most relevant to the Outdoor Industry in one place.
Importantly, this Set is not the Australian Adventure Activity Standards (AAAS). The AAAS are industry guidance, while the Outdoor Industry Standards Set provides access to a curated collection of formal Australian and international standards that may support operations, infrastructure, equipment, governance and risk management across outdoor education, outdoor recreation and adventure tourism.
The Set combines 35 standards and is designed to reduce fragmentation, cost and make the standards landscape easier to navigate, supporting stronger consistency, safety, compliance and professionalism across the Outdoor Industry.

Go to the curated subscription you wish to purchase. https://store.standards.org.au/curated-subscription/outdoor-industries
- Select with Small Business or Mobile Only and then Click Subscribe Now.
- Log in to your Standards Australia Store account or create an account if you are a new customer. Standards Australia provides Store login and account creation through its site.

Enter your promotion code in the Promotion code field and click Apply.
- Complete checkout and payment.
- Your discount will be applied prior to payment.
- Once your order is complete, you will receive a confirmation email and can access your subscribed standards via your Store login. Standards Australia also notes that users can manage subscriptions and content through their Store workspace.
