ActiveKIT Super Round is now Open

Expressions of Interest close at 5pm AEST on 22 May 2024.

A total of $3.3 million is available in the Super Round, with up $200,000 in funding available for innovative products and solutions.

ActiveKIT will support the active industry, startups or small to medium businesses to develop, trial or implement new and innovative solutions that respond to the challenge; “Personalising the experience for all”enable inclusive, social, flexible and/or commitment-free physical activity opportunities for all that helps to create a positive mindset and encourages physical activity involvement for life.

Eligible organisations can submit one application only under Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3:

  • Tier 1 – up to $50,000 for proof of concept idea only
    (with a cash co-contribution from the applicant that is at least 20% of the Total Project Cost)
  • Tier 2 – up to $100,000 (with a cash co-contribution from the applicant that is at least 20% of the Total Project Cost)
  • Tier 3 – $100,001 to $200,000 (with a cash co-contribution from the applicant that is at least 50% of the Total Project Cost)

This time around, we are also implementing

A two-stage application and assessment process has been implemented to ensure quality, innovative products and solutions receive funding under the Super Round. Key dates are outlined below:

Date: Activity

  • 1 May 2024: Stage 1 Expressions of Interest (EOI) submissions open
  • 22 May 2024: Stage 1 EOI submissions close at 5pm (AEST)
  • 12 June 2024: Stage 2 submissions open *For invited organisations only
  • 3 July 2024: Stage 2 submissions close at 5pm (AEST) *For invited organisations only
  • August 2024: Successful projects announced

Expressions of Interest are open now and will close at 5pm AEST on 22 May 2024.
Successful ideas will be invited to complete a second stage application from 12 June 2024.
