Updated: August 23, 2021)

As the outdoor industry moves forward from this time, it is obvious that many of the changes that will be necessary must be generated from within the community rather than imposed upon it. Let me assist your team as you rebuild programs and processes.

My background includes residential camps, short expedition, events, and IT with clients of all ages and abilities. While I’m certainly not a master of any, my wide range of experience lets me find a path to the end goal via a route that makes sense in your context. I don’t have all the answers. I’m the one who finds the questions that have been missed, and find the people who have those answers.

Happy to discuss short term roles. Currently in Maroochydore, I’ll be relocating to Brisbane over the next few months, but I’m willing to work around your needs as much as possible.

(Inserted: January 6, 2020)

Hi my name is Emma Grieve.

I am eager to work on my career in the outdoor industry, permanently here in Australia. Since a very young age, I have always had a passion for travel and adventure. My long term goal is to work in a leadership role in management and share my passion and enthusiasm for the outdoors. Back in the UK I was an outdoor instructor and group leader for children, youth groups and adults.

I possess a certificate in outdoor adventure travel and tourism, mountain bike leadership award and experience leading adventure activities (rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, dragon boating, team challenges, fencing, abseiling, hiking, gorge walking, surfing).

I have experience in managing groups of varying sizes, organising and leading outdoor activities (high ropes, low ropes, mountain biking, water based activities, team building sessions), organising and leading day excursions for visiting guests and in charge of the pastoral care of visiting individuals.
