Sign up today and become a member of the QORF Outdoors community –  help us represent the interests of all outdoor recreation users in Queensland. The greater the membership numbers, the stronger voice we share and the more we can achieve.

Subscription: FREE

An opportunity for students to join Outdoors Queensland at a very affordable rate; develop a passion for outdoor recreation and gain an insight into the outdoor sector. Applies to students in an outdoor sector related program.

Subscription: $30.00 pa

Applies to individuals or employees of financial member organisations only. Does not apply to representatives of non-member clubs, groups or other organisations.

Subscription: $55.00 pa.

Membership for clubs, small groups and locally based not for profit organisations is an opportunity to network with the greater outdoor community; to promote more widely and to gain the benefits and cost savings offered to all financial members.

  • discount advertising rates
  • participation in surveys
  • reduced prices at the Shop
  • networking opportunities, and

In addition, as a financial member, you can promote your club on your own Member Page (includes an exclusive url you can share with your clients and customers) with full inclusion in the Discover section so that you can be quickly and easily found by your potential new customers

Subscription: $70.00 pa

Associate membership is open to outdoor centres, companies, registered businesses, schools, councils and other organisations that are involved and/or interested in the outdoor recreation sector but does NOT, at the sole discretion of the Management Committee, represent a significant or selective portion of the outdoor recreation sector in Queensland.

  • discount advertising rates
  • participation in surveys
  • reduced prices at the Shop
  • networking opportunities, and
  • full access to the online resource and data library

In addition as an Associate Member you can promote your business on your own Member Page (includes an exclusive url you can share with your clients and customers) with full inclusion in the Discover section so that you can be quickly and easily found by your potential new customers.

Subscription: $130.00 pa

Ordinary membership is open to any state or national based not-for-profit organisation, collective, association or body, (generally with their own membership base) as defined by its Articles of Association, or a council, government department, statutory authority or statutory board that, at the sole discretion of the Management Committee, is considered to represent a 'significant or selective'* portion of the sector and is actively involved in the provision and/or management of outdoor recreation activities, facilities, services or training in Queensland.

  • discount advertising rates
  • participation in surveys
  • reduced prices at the Shop
  • networking opportunities, and

In addition as an Ordinary Member you can promote your organisation on your own Member Page (includes an exclusive url you can share with your clients and customers) with full inclusion in the Discover section so that you can be quickly and easily found by your potential new customers.

Subscription: $150.00 pa

Please Note: all applications for Ordinary Membership must include at the time of their application a current copy of their Articles of Association or Constitution.

*Significant portion of the sector is deemed to include:

  • any organisation that is administered on a state basis and is involved in outdoor recreation;
  • any organisation that is representative, on a state level, of a particular group or activity;
  • any organisation, which at the sole discretion of the Outdoors Queensland Board, satisfactorily represents the sector in a particular activity area, region or client base.
Selective portion is deemed to include any collective, group, organisation or association that is involved with a particular activity, client group, region or service that is not represented by a state organisation.
