Program for female veterans on the Sunshine Coast

Recent ABC News story about a new program being run on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland to help female veterans.

Organiser Tammy Grant launched the ‘Life-changing’ Surf Therapy program for female veterans, many with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from their deployment, sexual assault or chronic exposure to stress.

It is hoped that the surf therapy retreat, believed to be the first of its kind in Australia tailored specifically for female veterans, can be expanded to help more ex-servicewomen across Australia.
