Challenges, concerns and opportunities?

This survey, which forms part of Service and Creative Skills Australia’s (SaCSA) Travel, Tourism and Guiding Qualifications Review, seeks feedback on the challenges, concerns and opportunities experienced by stakeholders with the current training package products.
SaCSA is currently undertaking a review of the following qualifications:
- SIT30125 Certificate III in Tourism
- SIT30222 Certificate III in Travel
- SIT30322 Certificate III in Guiding
SaCSA is seeking feedback on:
- the suitability and currency of the knowledge and skills contained in the current training package products
- knowledge and skills that should be included in the draft training package products
- assessment requirements and conditions within the current training package products
- potential implementation considerations, including (but not limited to) licensing and regulatory requirements, and impacts on award wages
SaCSA is seeking insights on:
- qualifications,
- units of competency (UoC), and
- broader industry requirements within the Travel, Tourism and Guiding sectors
Survey results will help inform the early stages of drafting and development.
The survey closes at 5:00 pm AEST on 5th June 2026.
