The Queensland Government is seeking commercial operators for Smithfield Mountain Bike Park in Cairns.

The Queensland Government has invested $15.5 million to expand the Smithfield Mountain Bike Park trail network from 30km to 85km in length. (Smithfield Mountain Bike Park Expansion Project – Outdoors Queensland). They are now seeking commercial operators to run the Cairns based mountain bike park.
The webpage link below advises that the Queensland Government is “inviting the private sector to help realise the park’s full potential, from trail operations and shuttle services to hospitality ventures, major events, training facilities, or linkage to trails across Tropical North Queensland.”
