How a sugarcane cutter and his mates created a world-first DIY surf break at Burkitts Reef, Bargara.

An ABC News story about surfer Greg Redgard who, in 1997, with the help of a few mates, built a new surf break that is still one of the best surf spots in the area, and you’ll find Greg, now in his 60s, surfing there whenever he can.
