Queensland Sport and Recreation Annual Industry Survey

The Department of Tourism and Sport (the Department) is inviting all sport and recreation industry peak bodies, state level organisations and clubs to complete our annual survey on the industry’s capability and capacity in Queensland, as part of our 10-year strategy, Activate! Queensland 2019 – 2029.

This is an opportunity to have your say and help the Department gather important information on the performance of the sport and active recreation industry, specifically seeking your perceptions on whether your organisation has the skills and resources it needs to address current and emerging needs. Your responses will be used to inform the needs and/or opportunities for industry support moving forward.

This is the second year that the department will be running this survey. Responses from last year’s survey have been arranged in dynamic dashboards on our website and key data has been reported in the Department’s Annual Scorecard. In addition, the Department has responded to needs identified in last year’s survey with the launch of ClubIQ and hosting a series of Sideline Behaviour in Sport roundtables.

Who should complete this survey?
Ideally, a representative for your organisation or club, who manages, or is aware of, your organisation or club operations. As the email recipient, if this is not your role, please forward this on to the relevant person in your organisation or club.

Completing the survey
The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete and will remain open until close of business on Tuesday 24 September 2024.

We value your feedback and receiving your input is an important step in identifying how we can support the sport and active recreation industry to enrich the lives of all Queenslanders.
