New Toolkit Supports Inclusive Sport & Recreation for All
Carers Queensland has just released a fantastic new Sport & Recreation Toolkit to help break down barriers and support people with disability—and their families and carers—to get involved in sport and recreation in a way that works for them.
Whether you’re looking to join a local club, try a new activity, or simply start a conversation about inclusion, this step-by-step toolkit is a great place to begin. It’s packed with personal stories, practical worksheets, and tips for finding accessible, welcoming opportunities in your community.
There’s an interactive online version for those who prefer to click through and fill in answers digitally, and a printable version for those who like pen and paper. An accessible version is also on the way very soon.
We encourage you to explore the toolkit, share it widely, and help us collect feedback and great stories of inclusion in action.
