Access up to $2,000 for eligible businesses

Great news for Queensland tourism operators, the Tourism Business Capability Subsidy has been extended until 30 September 2026 (or until funds are exhausted), giving eligible businesses more time to access up to $2,000 in funding.

Running a tourism business means balancing day-to-day operations while continuing to invest in your future. Whether you’re looking to build new skills, strengthen your business or maintain industry accreditation, the extended subsidy provides valuable support to help you achieve your goals.

More flexibility. More value

The Subsidy has also been expanded to include eligible accreditation renewals, making it easier to maintain industry recognition while reducing the impact on your budget.

Funding can be used for a range of approved activities, including:

  • Eligible accreditation renewals
  • AI skills and training programs
  • Sustainability programs and certifications
  • Tour guide and marine qualifications
  • Business capability and professional development programs

With funding limited and demand expected to be high, we encourage eligible businesses to apply early. Don’t miss the opportunity to make the most of the extended funding period and invest up to $2,000 in your business’s future.
