The 2018 Queensland Volunteering Awards are now open for nominations. These awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of volunteers, volunteer managers and volunteer-involving organisations, and promote the importance of volunteering.

This year alone 980,000 individual Queenslanders donated their time to volunteering supporting a variety of causes, natural disasters and events. To highlight the significant number of volunteers, and the variety of volunteering, the awards will be presented across six categories.

Awards to be presented are:-

  • Volunteer of the Year Award
  • Youth Volunteering Award
  • Lifetime Contribution to Volunteering Award
  • Excellence in Volunteer Management Award
  • Volunteering Impact Award
  • Corporate Volunteering Award

Nominate a worthy individual or group for their positive action, compassion and commitment to their community today.
