4WD Beach Driving Safety Tips:

🏖️🚗 Check permits and local rules; be aware of restrictions.
🏖️🚗 Drive cautiously, avoid sudden moves for traction stability.
🏖️🚗 Monitor tides, weather; anticipate high tides, adverse conditions.
🏖️🚗 Consider driving two hours before or after summer low tide.
🏖️🚗 Keep a safe distance from the water to avoid tides’ impact
🏖️🚗 Use maintained 4WD recovery gear for safety – straps, shovel, tire pressure gauge, and a portable air compressor.
🏖️🚗 Lower tire pressure (15-20 psi) for better sand traction.
🏖️🚗 Stick to designated tracks, preserve fragile ecosystems.
🏖️🚗 Watch for hazards: soft sand, tidal creeks, wildlife and pedestrians such as people fishing or children playing
🏖️🚗 Inform someone before you embark on your journey, carry emergency supplies, communicate in remote areas.
