Australia’s Biggest Bushwalk

Australia’s Biggest Bushwalk

Challenge yourself to get active in nature

Posted on 12.01.2024

In May 2024, join the Australian Conservation Foundation and hundreds of other Australians in making a difference for our iconic animals found nowhere else other than in Australia’s very own Big Backyard!

Some of these are threatened animals losing their homes to habitat destruction and climate change, pushing many of them to the brink of extinction.

The ACF needs your help to protect the forests, rivers and reefs that our pink cockatoos, koalas and spectacular marine life call home. Never has our work been more critical, or more urgent than now.

So, conquer Australia’s Biggest Bushwalk in 31 days in May to support our unique and threatened animals.

Create a team, select your distance, and get active around your local area, parks and bush. We guarantee that you’ll:

  • Have fun (of course!)
  • Connect in nature
  • Meet new people
  • Boost your energy and wellbeing
  • Feel good that you will be helping us to raise the money we so desperately need to bring these animals back from the brink.

You can set your own goal, or use one of these – some great challenge targets across the entire month to inspire you:

Together we can stand up for the wildlife we all love and protect and restore nature so people, communities and wildlife thrive.
