Exodus: New climbing Wall

New indoor adventure centre has residents climbing up the walls

Posted on 23.03.2018

A NEW family fun activity has sprung up close to North Lakes.

The Exodus Adventures rock-climbing wall opened at the end of January in Business Drive, Narangba, just over Boundary Rd to the north of North Lakes.

Spokesman Laimon Eglentals said, after gaining council approval, the wall took about two months to erect and fit out. It is about 8m high.

The owners have an outdoor activities centre near Grafton in New South Wales and saw there was a gap in the market between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

“Owners feel the new facility is in a good growth area and also close to Burpengary and the Strathpine area,” Mr Eglentals said.

“Sometimes we are quite busy but it is taking time for people to know where it is and that it is open.

“It is mostly families that come.

“It caters for five-year-olds to the experienced rock climber.

“It is a very good holiday activity for kids, especially on a rainy day.”

The climbing wall is open seven days a week, from 10am-9pm on weekdays, 9am-9pm on Saturdays and 9am-5pm on Sundays and public holidays.
