PARKS WEEK 2023!

PARKS WEEK 2023!

Open for Event Submissions

Posted on 16.12.2022

Parks Leisure Australia and Recreation Aotearoa are pleased to officially announce Parks Week 2023 is open for event submissions!

Taking place 4 – 12 March 2023, Parks Week is all about celebrating the vital role parks play in creating liveable cities and thriving communities.

With changing weather patterns and its impact on communities, there is no better time to embrace our open spaces and reap the benefits being outdoors (and away from screens) has on our health and wellbeing.

WHAT IS PARKS WEEK?

Parks Week 2023 is an opportunity for organisations across Australia and New Zealand to highlight the value parks have in our communities by hosting events, sharing stories, and celebrating the people who work to provide these spaces. It’s also a great reminder for people to get out and explore their local parks and take time to focus on their wellbeing.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

If you would like to run an event for Parks Week 2023 (or already have something planned), tell us about it on the Parks Week website and we can help you promote it through the website and social media.

Resources/digital assets are available for you to download and use to show your support for Parks Week 2023.

We look forward to celebrating with you in 2023!
