What: The FNQ FOOL’s Forum, run on behalf of Outdoor Educator’s Association of Queensland, is designed for all who lead groups in the outdoors, and will include a mixture of practical and discussion sessions, and industry updates.

Who:
For anyone who works with groups in the outdoors – outdoor education and recreation, guiding & instruction.

Why:
To network with other outdoor industry professionals and update on current industry issues.

Where:

Program
The forum will include a mixture of practical, discussion sessions and industry updates from Outdoors Queensland & OEAQ and about the AAAS and UPLOADS, Covid-Safe Plans and Practices, Professional Logbooks and Gear Maintenance. Practical sessions will most probably include but not limited to climbing, making outdoor videos, pre– and post-activity participant preparation and learning, ropes courses, wilderness first aid, and other topics as suggested by presenters.

Sunday 11 December
Activity Morning—linked to Fool’s Forum. Activities to be confirmed but could include a choice of Mountain-biking, SUP, Canoeing, Hiking and more. Overnight stay from night before possible and encouraged. Finish after lunch to plenty of time for travel.
